FAQs

Will I only get to see and experience one school through my entire course of study?

The working component of your study will be carried out in your nominated Alliance school for the duration of the course. You will work two or more days within that school and gain direct experience in the classroom.

This will enable you to finesse the techniques and abilities you need to thrive as a teacher with practical strategies and skills gleaned from your own experience.

However, placement opportunities will still remain throughout the course…. Needs more drafting/clarification.

Will I work in one school for the duration of my course?

Yes, you will become embedded in your Alliance school - connecting with an experienced teacher-mentor who will help you find your feet in the classroom and teach from who you are

in Christ.

What does it look like to connect with peers who are also part of the Alliance?

As part of the course you will study onsite at Eastern College Australia for two days per week in a cohort of like-minded and passionate peers who go on the journey with you. Together you will share your experiences in the classroom and hone your reflections and strategies.

This chance for review and conversation will allow you to develop a personalised teacher-formation plan and connect your learning with what you are experiencing in your school and classroom.
